WHY PI KAPP?
Pi Kappa Phi Theta Theta Chapter takes pride in recruiting the most well-rounded potential new members during our recruitment periods. We look for new members who are involved in on-campus organizations, pride themselves on high academic standards, are natural leaders, and work to create a lifelong brotherhood. They recognize service over self, and will continue to work and lead for the betterment of their communities.
Pi Kappa Phi, both nationally and here at Iowa, is full of opportunity and resources. Through brotherhood activities, academic help, scholarship, alumni mentorship, parents involvement, and just by surrounding yourselves by high achieving brothers, you will set yourself up for success. Our brotherhood helps each individual member achieve their full potential take on the world as a well-rounded brother, man, and leader.
NEW MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS
To rush Pi Kappa Phi during any formal recruitment periods at the University of Iowa, any potential member must meet the following prerequirements:
- Achieve minimum 2.7 GPA High School GPA (College GPA used for non-incoming freshman pnms)
- Heavily involved in athletics and/or academic groups in High School
- Commitment to involvement with on-campus organizations, academic fraternities, and local organizations
- Drive to become a leader
- Seeking a lifelong brotherhood that extends beyond university
