PIE A PI KAPP FUNDRAISER HELD AT HUBBARD PARK

On Thursday, April 28th, the chapter hosted a fundraiser called Pie A Pi Kapp. We hosted this event on a beautiful day at Hubbard Park, located right next to the Iowa Memorial Union. The essence of Pie A Pi Kapp is that a donor will donate money to smack our brothers with a pie. It’s quite simple!

We we set up at Hubbard Park from 1-4pm. We had over 150 total participants stop by and 25+ brothers that got pied. We also had a giveaway for Pancheros gift cards and informed people that stopped by about The Ability Experience, our chapter, and about upcoming philanthropy events.

In total, our chapter raised over $650 in the few hours we were there, all of the money going directly to our philanthropic partner, The Ability Experience.

Special thanks to our Philanthropy Chairman, Kai Lindholm for organizing and running this event. Thank you to all the brothers who participated and the people that donated and stopped by. Looking forward to being back on campus with more philanthropy events from Pi Kappa Phi soon!
